The Rock has announced that he and his family have contracted coronavirus.
As the world continues to go through the coronavirus pandemic, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson — WWE legend, one of Hollywood’s top actors today and a new part-owner of the XFL — has announced he is one of the latest to have been diagnosed with the disease.
In an approximately 12-minute Instagram video, Johnson states that he, along with his wife, Lauren Hashian, and their children, Jasmine and Tiana, have all tested positive for COVID-19.
Johnson, however, adds that none of them is contagious any longer.

The Rock and his family have tested positive for coronavirus
In the video, Johnson calls his battle with COVID one of the most difficult things he’s ever gone through — both for himself and his family. Johnson says that while his daughters had little beyond a sore throat, he and his wife had more of a struggle.
“Testing positive for COVID-19 is a lot different than recovering from nasty injuries or getting evicted, or even being broke, which I’ve been more than a few times,” Johnson said. “The reason I feel this is different is because my No. 1 priority is to always protect my family, my children, my loved ones.
“I wish it was only me that tested positive, but it wasn’t. It was my entire family and it was a kick in the gut. But I am happy to tell you guys that we in a family are good, we’re on the other end of it. We are no longer contagious. Thank God, we’re healthy.
“Believe me, I am counting my blessings because we all have been hit by this thing — whether it’s family we know, people we know, friends we know … we’re well aware it isn’t always the case that you get on the other end of COVID-19 stronger and healthier.”
