College football DFS picks September 5:

It’s Labor Day weekend. You know, the weekend where we are supposed to be inundated with five days of non-stop college football, and along with it, college football DFS. But alas, this is 2020, where nothing is as we expect. Our alternate reality this weekend is a six-game college football DFS slate on Saturday. I never thought that I would be in the position of trying to figure out who is starting at quarterback for Houston Baptist, but here I am.

Six games are still better than nothing, so I will take what I can get. We have the likes of Stephen F. Austin, Eastern Kentucky, and Houston Baptist on this slate. Even though blowouts are likely in those matchups, there is still value to be found. We’ll go hunting for that while trying to decipher which stars are worth the money while picking apart depth charts.

We had a good start to the college football DFS season Thursday night. I was all-in on Tolbert and heavy on South Alabama in general. That lead to some extra bankroll to play with coming into the weekend. Let’s see if we can find that lucrative upset in here as well.

The scoring for DraftKings college football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!

The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. College football DFS scoring realizes that!
