Miami football will give you epic bling rings if you score a touchdown.
Miami football is No. 1 when it comes to crazy, over-the-top celebration paraphernalia.
Though we’re not 100 percent sure if they invented the turnover chain or the pimp cane or any of that extra special deliciousness we love about college football, the Miami Hurricanes do it better than just about anyone. It doesn’t matter if the second incarnation of The U was two decades ago, the ‘Canes are the kings of celebrating turnovers…and now apparently touchdowns. These rings!
YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS.

New Touchdown Rings. First to rock 'em: @polo_man_cam pic.twitter.com/C2txyIdn6U
Never have any of us ever before wanted to score a touchdown so badly.
Though getting gaudy bling rings for scoring a touchdown seems a bit excessive because scoring touchdowns on offense is the most important thing you can do in football, putting points on the board in bunches hasn’t been the ‘Canes thing for a while. However, you have to respect running back Cam’ron Harris‘ 66-yard touchdown run. Yeah, he earned the right to rock the bling rings.

Miami may not be ranked at this time, but the ‘Canes will be in a week or so once the FBS teams who aren’t playing this year fall out of the AP Top 25 Rankings. The Hurricanes are a dark horse contender to win the ACC Championship game this year, mostly because they are not the Clemson Tigers, nor are they the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. But if they play well, they can get to Charlotte.
With two elite graduate transfers on their roster in quarterback D’Eriq King and defensive lineman Quincy Roche, the ‘Canes may have the veteran leadership necessary to hang tough in what could be a much-improved ACC this season. Of course, they’re going to need more 50-plus touchdown runs out of Harris if they want to keep pace with the Tigers and the Irish this year.
Now you know you will get to rock some crazy rings if you score a touchdown for Miami in 2020.
