In case you were wondering, Patrick Mahomes still has the best arm in the NFL

Mahomes and the Chiefs are readying themselves to defend their Super Bowl crown on Thursday Night Football against the Houston Texans. Finally, the day NFL fans have been waiting months for is finally here, with little to no hiccups (thus far). During warmups, Mahomes ran out of the locker room and gave the limited fans in attendance a sneak peak at what this season has to offer. Here’s a hint: it involves plenty of bombs.

Very, very casual from the 2018 MVP. If we thought Chiefs fans were excited by this preview of what’s to come, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and Mecole Hardman ought to be even more hyped, as they’ll be on the receiving end more than naught.

Can Patrick Mahomes replicate his run to Super Bowl glory?

Of course Mahomes can, but will he? Very rarely is there such a clear-cut Super Bowl favorite heading into the season, as the Chiefs kept the majority of their roster in-tact, and even added a few pieces. Brett Veach deserves a gold medal for his salary cap gymnastics, but that’s neither here nor there once this team actually takes the field on Thursday night. Theoretically, anything can happen, including the unforeseen.

If the Chiefs can stay healthy, they’re as talented as any team in the NFL. With or without the rowdy fans at Arrowhead, Kansas City is the frontrunner in 2020.
