Army vs UL Monroe: Betting odds, TV channel, live stream, prediction
The Army Black Knights opened up 2020 with a 42-0 win over Middle Tennessee last week, but can they carry that same energy as they take on UL Monroe?
Army Football had as about as great of a start to a season that you can have with their blowout win over Middle Tennesee last Saturday, In their victory, the Black Knights run game was in full effect, rushing for 340 yards, with an average of 5.5 yards per carry, and scored five of their six touchdowns on the ground.
And no that sixth touchdown did not come through the air, but was scored by Army’s defense, who in addition to their touchdown, forced a total of four turnovers, held the Blue Raiders to under 200 yards of total offense, and help the offense control the time of possession, allowing Middle Tennessee to have the ball for under 25 minutes of the game. This Army team was looking to get back to the success it had prior to 2019 and it’s safe to say in Week One they found it.
Army stays at home for their second game of the season as they take on the Warhawks of UL Monroe. While all of college football has had a rough and unusual offseason, the Warhawks might be near the top of list of teams who have had it the hardest. Combine the coronavirus pandemic with Hurrican Laura and you get a team who missed double digit practices on a schedule that was already limited in the first place.
The Warhawks had a top-20 offense in terms of yards last year but enter this year with a new starting quarterback. So with that on top of the offseason the Warhakws have had, combined with how good Army is, this game may not be a pretty sight to see.
But just incase you want an excuse to get out of weekend house chores, here’s how to watch and bet on the UL Monroe vs Army game:

Prediction: I predicted Army’s game last week and said they would lose. Boy was I way off. But, I am not going to make that same mistake. Quarterback Christian Anderson was great last week in his decision making and Sandon McCoy was the drive finisher, scoring three times for the Black Knights. But the player that stuck out last week, who had a breakout performance, was freshman running back Tyrell Robinson. Robinson has speed and is as athletic as they come and is going to be a great addition to the ready dominate Army run game. Army’s defense forces has another multiple turnover game for the second straight week as the Black Knights move to 2-0 on the season.
Score: Army 45, UL Monroe 10.
