Mike Norvellās Florida State football was so bad FSU fans want him fired.
It took a grand total of one game before Florida State football fans turned on Mike Norvell.
To lose at home 16-13 to the Ramblinā Wreck of Georgia Tech was a deplorably bad shameful embarrassment. This is the kind of shame Kansas State football players used to have before Bill Snyder arrived back in the late 1980s. Though Seminoles football players donāt need to wear bags on their heads to class on Monday, as masks will suffice, Norvell is already on the hot seat. Wow!
Look at all these people who want to fire Mike Norvell into the sun.

The Florida State Seminoles are what we consider a college football blue-blood. They are one of the cornerstones of the ACC. There was a time where they refused to be any worse than the fourth-best team in the country. Bobby Bowden did unbelievable things for the āNoles in the 1980s and 1990s. Even Jimbo Fisher won a national title at Florida State back in 2013.
It is truly amazing what seven years of bad luck can do to your football soul. Florida State fans thought they were going to get a cakewalk victory over the rebuilding Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Too bad Geoff Collins took Norvell to the woodshed and handed him a brutal 16-13 loss in Doak Campbell. Do we even want to go down the road just yet on what Norvellās Florida State buyout is?
There is good, there is bad and then thereās whatever we just saw go down in Tallahassee. This was a game slated to start at 3:30 p.m. ET and it didnāt end until nearly six hours later due to lightning storms. When you average less than two points an hour at home, youāre going to have a bad time, and thatās exactly the time Norvell had in his ACC coaching debut. What a train wreck.
It doesnāt matter if weāre in a pandemic, Florida State fans want Norvell gone after one game.
