Tom Brady in a Bucs uniform still doesn’t look right.

Tom Brady played his first game as the official Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback and after so many years as a New England Patriot, it’s kinda jarring to see him in red, black and white. The first glimpse of game-day Brady jarred not just us, but fans across the internet joined in the visual discomfort.

Of course, there were a few people who actually loved the new look. We call those people Bucs fans.

Tom Brady signed with the Patriots in March

Brady signed with the Buccaneers in mid-March and fans have been in an ehanced state of disbelief ever since. The two-year contract was worth $50 million in fully guaranteed money and included a no-trade clause. Brady was able to keep the iconic 12 jersey number after Bucs’ Chris Godwin agreed to give it to Brady. Then, just two months later Brady’s longtime friend and former Patriots teammate, Rob Gronkowski, came out of retirement and was traded to the Buccaneer to rejoin his friend.

At press time the Bucs were tied with the New England Saints with about 11 minutes until halftime. There’s plenty of time for the Bucs to get a good lead and it’s first win with Brady at the helm.
