The Colts made their way to Jacksonville looking to snap a five-game road losing streak in this AFC South series. Things started well for new Indianapolis’ quarterback Philip Rivers and company and the veteran would throw for 363 yards and one score. But he also served two interceptions and despite limiting the Jacksonville offense to just 241 total yards, Frank Reich’s defense gave up three TD passes to Jaguars’ quarterback Gardner Minshew.

Vic Fangio’s team recently got some bad news when star outside linebacker Von Miller went down with an ankle injury (via ESPN’s Jeff Legwold) that required surgery. This was a team that overcame a 0-4 start a year ago with seven wins in their final 12 games. And the Broncos may have found their quarterback in Drew Lock, who started the last five games as a rookie in 2019, threw seven TD passes (3 interceptions) and keyed a 4-1 stretch run.

Bill O’Brien’s defending AFC South champions looked tentative against the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in prime time. There was a lack of aggressive play-calling and after taking a 7-0 first-quarter lead, the Texans allowed 31 consecutive points. Deshaun Watson finished with 253 passing yards, throwing for one score and running for another. But he also was picked off once and sacked four times by a Chiefs’ defense which kept him on the run.
