Georgia’s new football uniforms will have everyone even more excited for the season-opener against Arkansas
Anyone else ready to run through a wall after watching that clip from Georgia’s official Twitter account? The new jerseys surely are awesome, providing a bit of a throwback feeling at the same time.
For Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs, they’ll look to get the 2020 campaign started the right way with a big win against Arkansas later this month. It’ll indeed be a new-look team, with Smart and his coaching staff ready to trot out a new starting signal-caller.
The expectation was Newman would take over the offense after grad transferring from Wake Forest, but he’s sitting out this season to prepare for the NFL Draft instead. USC transfer JT Daniels, a former 5-star Southern Cal signee, then figured to win the job, but the latest reports out of Athens indicate D’Wan Mathis will lead the offense out onto the field come Week 1.
And when the Bulldogs do take the field next, they’ll do so donning some jerseys that are absolute fire.
