Tom Brady, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Brady did not have the best debut with his new team. He threw two interceptions, one of which was a pick-six, and finished with only 239 yards against the New Orleans Saints.

The task gets a bit easier in Week 2 against a Carolina Panthers defense that allowed 34 points in Week 1 to the Las Vegas Raiders. Derek Carr matched Brady’s total of 239 yards, but the focus was on the ground as Josh Jacobs ran for 93 yards and three touchdowns.

Brady is a legend of the game and went up against one of the best teams in football in Week 1. He still has Mike Evans and Chris Godwin at his disposal, along with old friend Rob Gronkowski. Expect a bounce-back performance and also remember Brady did throw for two touchdowns and ran for another in Week 1. His career-high in interceptions in a season is 14 so don’t plan on two picks from him every Sunday.

Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers

The old guard of NFL quarterbacks refuses to go away. Rodgers had a huge performance in Week 1 with 364 yards and four touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings. He heavily targeted Davante Adams and there is no reason why he won’t continue his dominance against a Detroit Lions defense that blew a lead to Mitch Trubisky last week.

The Lions allowed Trubisky to throw for 242 yards and three touchdowns. The final touchdown came on a game-winning drive. Matt Patricia’s defense is a disaster and Rodgers should exploit it easily Sunday.
