Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills

Allen is a tough quarterback to figure out. He has days where he misses receivers by a wide margin and others where he fumbles after making a terrible decision. Then there are days like last Sunday when he threw for 312 yards and two touchdowns while adding 57 rushing yards and another touchdown.

Allen’s abilities as a runner make him an intriguing fantasy option on a weekly basis. His Week 1 performance came against a New York Jets team that once again appears headed in the wrong direction. Things don’t get too much more difficult this week against a Miami Dolphins defense that could not stop Cam Newton.

Newton had 155 passing yards on only 19 attempts as the New England Patriots offense ran the ball 42 times. That included 15 rushes by Newton for 75 yards and two touchdowns. The Bills can copy this formula and Allen can maximize his fantasy value with those rushing touchdowns.

Kyler Murray, QB, Arizona Cardinals

Murray also had himself a big day both through the air and on the ground last week against the defending NFC champion San Francisco 49ers. While his passing marks of 230 yards and a touchdown were nothing extraordinary, his value came with 91 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground.

He now takes on a Washington defense that looked surprisingly great in the second half of a Week 1 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. However, the Eagles totally collapsed and Carson Wentz is not exactly a dual-threat player like Murray.

Washington won that game with only 239 total yards of offense. The Cardinals just took down the 49ers and Murray is a threat to go well over 300 total yards on a weekly basis. Expect him to do even better this week against a lesser opponent.
