Clemson football put up 49 points on The Citadel in one half. Dancing followed.
The Citadel was far from their biggest opponent of 2020, but Clemson still had fun beating the Bulldogs.
First, the Tigers piled on 49 points in two quarters.
Then. they enjoyed a dance party in the locker room after the game.

Clemson football gets to celebrate how they want after another blowout win.
The Citadel hung in their opener against USF even though they ultimately lost by 21. There was no hanging in against Clemson.
Trevor Lawrence led the No. 1 team to three quick touchdowns in the first quarter. He found Frank Ladson Jr. for a 17-yard score then followed that up with a 44-yard bomb to Amari Rodgers. Lawrence ran the third one in himself before the defense delivered a 17-yard scoop-and-score nine seconds later.
How big was the Clemson beatdown? They were able to put back up D.J. Uiagalelei in the game in the second quarter. He went on to score two rushing touchdowns sandwiching a 54-yard Lawrence touchdown pass.
At least The Citadel got something out of the beatdown. As The Athletic’s Grace Raynor pointed out, the program netted $9,183.67 per point they allowed in a game with a $450,000 payout.
As Clemson took their foot off the gas and didn’t score in the second half, the Bulldogs also became the first teams since 2014 to hold the Tigers scoreless in a half, according to Reddit CFB.
Clemson will next turn their sights on Virginia, who might be able to force Lawrence and company to play hard for more than a quarter. Then again, the Cavaliers haven’t been able to play a game yet this season, so they may be in for a rude awakening while Clemson sets up another dance party.
