The Oklahoma State Cowboys open their 2020 season with big expectations against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane and here’s how to watch and all the game info.

While much of the Big 12 got their 2020 season underway last week, Mike Gundy’s Oklahoma State Cowboys will get the year started this Saturday after a one-week postponement as they welcome the Tulsa Golden Hurricane to Boone Pickens Stadium. Gundy and the Cowboys faithful are hoping that the meeting in Stillwater will be the start of big things for the Pokes this season.

Oklahoma State comes into this year with big-time aspirations. Not only do they return arguably the best running back in the country, Chuba Hubbard, but quarterback Spencer Sanders could be in line for a monster year in his second season as the starter. That’s especially true with Tylan Wallace returning to action. And not to be forgotten, the Cowboys defense is a talented and deep veteran unit that could be one of the best in the Big 12.

Tulsa has some juice on offense as former Baylor quarterback Zach Smith in addition to running backs Shamari Brooks and Corey Taylor II lead the way for this unit. However, the Golden Hurricane struggled on defense last season and, even if improved, that doesn’t bode well for them in Saturday’s matchup.

How to watch Oklahoma State vs. Tulsa and bet on the game from Boone Pickens Stadium.

Date: Saturday, Sept. 19
Start Time: Noon ET
Location: Boone Pickens Stadium – Stillwater, OK
TV Info: ESPN
Odds: Oklahoma State -23.5, O/U 66 (via The Action Network)
Live Stream: WatchESPN

Prediction: Though this is the first game of the 2020 season for Oklahoma State, they shouldn’t be all that concerned. Tulsa is projected to be a middling-at-best team in the AAC this season and, one year ago, their defense was beaten pretty badly by offenses not nearly the caliber of the Cowboys’.

Expect Hubbard and Sanders to come out and make a big statement in the season-opener. The Golden Hurricane may land a couple of shots, even with the experience of the OSU defense but everything is going to come up Pokes as they almost single-handedly hit the over.

Score: Oklahoma State 54, Tulsa 17
