Watch the Cowboys pull off a miracle comeback against the Falcons (Video)

The Dallas Cowboys pulled off an absolutely insane comeback against the poor Atlanta Falcons.
If there’s one thing we know the Atlanta Falcons are good at, it’s blowing leads in Texas.
Three years after blowing their infamous 28-3 lead to the New England Patriots, the Falcons were back at it fumbling away what seemed to be a sure-fire win. Rather than Houston and the Super Bowl as the setting, this blown lead happened in Week 2 in Dallas but was every bit as nauseating for fans watching in Atlanta.
Fans in attendance in Dallas, however, loved every bit of what they saw. After falling into a 20-0 hole, the Cowboys clawed their way back to get into a position to attempt an onside kick down only 39-37 late in the fourth quarter.
Not only was the onside kick recovered, but it was one of the most beautiful attempts we’ve seen.
That led to Greg Zuerlein daggering the Falcons with a game-winning kick that not only sent Cowboys fans into a frenzy but helped even out the season after a rough start.
Few times has How Bout Dem Cowboys ever felt as appropriate as it did on Sunday.
Which, while we’re here let’s just chart the whole comeback because it was absolutely bonkers.
The win comes after things hit perhaps as dire a point as they have in recent memory for Dallas. Last week’s loss was a tough pill to swallow given the controversial nature in which it finished, but going from that to a 20-0 deficit was the worst thing that could have happened.
Don’t get it twisted, the Falcons are a very bad football team. Atlanta has allowed 78-points in the first two weeks of the season and unsurprisingly have no wins to show. Dallas fighting back the way it did showed the type of grit that fans needed to see out of a team with a new head coach and uncertain future.
Specifically, Dak Prescott is on a mission to make the Cowboys pay more than they ever thought they’d have to for him to remain in Dallas. After an offseason of dispute, Dak powered the Cowboys comeback like a man determined to prove his worth and then some.
Dallas still has a lot to figure out, but getting that first win of the season is a huge relief — and getting it the way the Cowboys did could be the sign of a team with a will to win which could make this season special.
