Raiders safety Johnathan Abram had a terrifying collision on Monday Night Football.
Football can be a scary sport. It lived up to that on Monday Night Football when Raiders’ safety Johnathan Abram collided with a TV cart.
In the first quarter of the Las Vegas home debut against the New Orleans Saints, Abrams was chasing down running back Alvin Kamara when he tumbled out of bounds and into a cart sitting on the sidelines.
He laid terrifyingly still for several moments.
Good news: Johnathan Abram got up and appears to be fine.

Television cart is way too close to the field and Abram slams into it, pic.twitter.com/NxjIAh1wO9
Empty stadium. No reason whatsoever for ESPN to need to have a cart with a camera on it right there. But MEGACAST, and now a dude's concussed. pic.twitter.com/PcRF28SXwh

Johnathan Abram collided with a TV cart in a scary moment on MNF.
Fortunately, the cart did less damage to the safety than it initially seemed. According to Tashan Reed of the Athletic, “He got up and ran off the field.”
Abram was drafted by the Raiders with the 27th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Just last week he put in a stellar performance against the Carolina Panthers with 13 tackles. Those are the most by a Raiders defensive back since Charles Woodson six years ago.
