FanDuel NFL 2020: Best lineup for Week 3
By Nick Villano
Running Back: Chris Carson $7,700
Chris Carson had some really good runs against the New England Patriots last week despite not being able to break one. His longest run was 14 yards but still had multiple runs for over 10 yards. The biggest contribution he made was once again through the air. He scored his third receiving touchdown of the season.
The Seattle Seahawks are finding creative ways to make Carson part of the offense. With Russell Wilson hogging all the touchdowns in the first two weeks, Carson needs to spend time in the passing game to get points. The law of averages says things will start to even out between the passing and rushing scores, which will be good news for Carson.
The Seahawks had six plays in the red zone against the Patriots. Four of them were players to Carson. Once things calm down for the Seattle offense, Carson will get the scoring touches.
Next week, the Seahawks take on the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys have let up 59 points in the first two weeks. Last week, Todd Gurley didn’t do much with a predictable Falcons offense, but the week before Malcolm Brown was great. He scored two touchdowns and 79 yards on 18 carries. Carson has a real chance to dominate on the ground.
The Cowboys’ weak secondary is going to go all out on stopping Wilson. This will give Carson a chance to excel.
Other options: Ezekiel Elliott $9,000, Austin Ekeler $7,500
