Late college football DFS picks September 26:

We have a rather large seven game night slate for our college football DFS contests on Saturday. We get to see Baylor finally take the field against a Kansas team that got trampled at home by something called a Chanticleer.

Alabama makes their debut, as does a Tennessee team that is allegedly much better than last year. Virginia Tech makes their long-awaited debut as well against a North Carolina State team that just struggled with Wake. The 12th Man gets to stick it to Vandy, the Gamecocks have a new quarterback (he’s not that new….just new to those east of the Mississippi).

Oh, and we have that nice little rivalry between Florida State and Miami. Cap that off with one team playing out west, and we have quite a slate for us to feast on!

I had a couple of big lineups last weekend that were usurped by late scratches. We really have to watch out for that this year. If you can’t be around before lock to make a quick switch, it’s probably best to sit it out. COVID has changed DFS as well. We lost two games between Friday and Saturday morning.

The scoring for DraftKings college football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!

The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. College football DFS scoring realizes that!
