The Florida State Seminoles aren’t having a great start to their 2020 season and Twitter let them know about it.
Things were supposed to get better for the Florida State Seminoles after they parted ways with head coach Willie Taggart and replaced him with Mike Norvell. Even a coaching change couldn’t help the Seminoles, because not much has changed this season. The team lost their season opener to Georgia Tech by the score of 16-13, and they didn’t fare much better this Saturday against the Miami Hurricanes.
Florida State was outclassed by its in-state rival in the first half. They were trailing by the score of 35-3 and their play on both sides of the ball was atrocious. If the Seminoles felt bad before, they probably won’t feel any better if they log onto Twitter after the game, because some of these tweets were ruthless.
Twitter wasn’t too kind to Florida State who had a pathetic showing vs. rival Miami
Pretty sure that INT was Florida State’s last three years rolled into one play.

Florida State should just opt out of the rest of the season.

Iowa State, somehow, no longer has the worst turnover today. You earned it, Florida State.

The Seminoles offense was downright sluggish throughout the first half. Quarterback James Blackman completed 5-of-11 pass attempts for 28 yards. In fact, Florida State mustered a measly 105 yards of offense in the first half and was just 2-for-7 on third-down conversions.
Florida State’s defense was no better, as they played the role of a subway turnstile. Miami quarterback D’Eriq King completed 22-of-31 pass attempts for 223 yards and two scores. Meanwhile, running back Cam’Ron Harris rushed for 42 yards and two scores on nine carries. Miami put up 334 yards of total offense, was 8-of-11 on third-down efficiency and successfully converted on both fourth-down attempts.
College football fans learned in just two games that this isn’t Florida State’s year and that it was pretty much over on the season-opening kickoff.
