Surefire “Flex” Starters

  • Robby Anderson, Carolina Panther wed receiver, appears to be quarterback Teddy Bridgewater’s “go to” guy.  Anderson has 15 catches for 223 yards and 1 touchdown.
  • Dalvin Cook, Minnesota Vikings running back, has 113 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns.  He is the Vikings most productive weapon in the “Red Zone.”

Riding the Bench

  • David Johnson, Houston Texans running back, is supposed to lead the Houston running attack, He has 22 carries for 111 yards and 1 touchdown.
  • Jordan Reed, San Francisco 49ers tight end, is filling in for the injured George Kittle.  He has 9 receptions for 62 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Underrated

  • Chris Carson, Seattle Seahawks running back, has 23 carries for 93 yards plus 9 catches for 81 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns.  He is one reason that quarterback Russell Wilson is an MVP candidate.

Overrated

  • Nyheim Hines, Indianapolis Colts running back, may have been a “one-week wonder.”  After a productive week 1, he wasn’t used much in week 2’s game.

Sleeper “Flex” of the Week

  • Adam Thielen, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver, could help the Viikings to their 1st wini of the season with a multiple touchdown performance.
