Deuce Tatum, Jayson Tatum’s son, broke out a homemade sign in the NBA bubble.
Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum received some good news in the middle of his series against Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, and the Miami Heat. With the league slightly relaxing their regulations on who is allowed in the Disney bubble and allowing close family members to make the journey, Tatum’s son Deuce was able to join his father in Orlando. Deuce might only be two years old, but he already knows how to make his presence known.
The youngest member of the Tatum family is already showing his support for Dad against the Heat, breaking out a homemade sign that read “we got this” ahead of their Game 6 matchup.
Deuce Tatum will watch his dad try to get the Celtics into the NBA Finals
The Celtics currently find themselves down three games to two against Butler and Miami. While there are many reasons that the higher seed finds themselves down against Miami, Tatum is not one of them. Despite being just 21 years old, Tatum is averaging 25.8 points and 10.2 rebounds per game during these playoffs.
His performance at this age is almost unheard of. Tatum already has the most individual games of 25 or more points, 10 or more rebounds, and five or more assists in the postseason before the age of 23. For those unaware, Tatum is 21, showing exactly how important he has been for Boston in this series.
There is a chance that Deuce linking back up with Dad in the bubble is that final shot in the arm that he and the Celtics need to turn the tide in their favor in what has been a very competitive series. The NBA will see if Tatum’s Celtics are worthy enough to take on the Lakers in the NBA Finals.
