LSU football fan destroys TV after upset loss vs. Mississippi State (Video)
LSU football lost their first game in 671 days and one fan was so upset he threw a football at a flat-screen TV and broke it in a fit of rage.
LSU lost for the first time since falling in 7OT to Texas A&M on Nov. 24, 2018, on Saturday after giving up 623 passing yards to K.J. Costello and Mississippi State.
It was a big upset for then-No. 6 LSU who plummetted all the way down to No. 20 in the latest AP Top 25. Maybe we shouldn’t have been so surprised after LSU lost 14 starters to the NFL Draft, including Heisman winner Joe Burrow, as well as assistant coaches Joe Brady and Dave Arranda. And then, they lose Ja’Marr Chase and Tyler Shelvin to opt-outs and then they lose All-American cornerback Derek Stingley, Jr. who was unable to play after he was hospitalized with an illness.
Nevertheless, there was one LSU football fan in particular who just couldn’t deal with the first loss in nearly 700 days and was inconsolable
LSU football fan couldn’t handle the fact his team lost for the first time since 2018 and threw a football into a TV because he can’t express his emotions any other way
In fact, not only was he inconsolable and unable to control his emotions. He has a big bill from a local establishment after smashing one of their televisions.
That’s right. In one of the most ridiculous and immature acts you’ll see all year, one LSU football fan threw a football into a TV, to the horror of his friends who were embarrassed by his actions.
This is what being a spoiled, entitled sports fan looks like.
He’s wearing a national champs shirt so he’s not some imposter, but this is a terrible look. And it’s made worse by his throwing motion that resembles something like Philip Rivers meets Tim Tebow.
His mechanics are all off.
But now he has to buy that restaurant a new TV because he was so mad that LSU lost a football game for the first time since Thanksgiving in 2018!
Come on, man.
Last year was an unforgettable season for LSU football fans and it’s never going to be matched. You have to accept there’s going to be some regression. A once-in-a-lifetime season doesn’t happen every year.
Sure, you can be upset your team lost and certainly be upset with the way they lost. But get a grip and don’t embarrass yourself and your fandom because of your childish actions.
The only thing worse than this would have been if he burned all his LSU gear afterward.
