1. Kyler Murray
Murray gets the benefit of playing against a historically young defense in his game versus the Panthers this weekend. That’s a great recipe for success in his quest to bounce back from a really erratic performance against Detroit in Week 3.
Carolina might have the worst group of starting cornerbacks in the league. Donte Jackson is a decent talent, but he’s struggled to stay on the field due to injuries through three weeks. Rasul Butler starts on the other side after being released by the Eagles just before the start of the season.
DeAndre Hopkins should run wild against anyone Carolina throws at him. He won’t be the only Arizona receiver running wild on Sunday. Larry Fitzgerald and Andy Isabella also have big opportunities to light up the scoreboard in this one.
Murray should be in line for a big day even if Arizona sprints out to a strong lead. Kliff Kingsbury’s offense doesn’t really know how to take its foot off the throttle. That is bad news for Carolina fans hoping for a close game, but it’s excellent news for Murray fans looking for him to have a career day.
