College football DFS picks October 1:

This week we finally have a Friday where there’s more than one game! Cancellations have taken their toll over the first month of the college football season. That has really shown up in college football DFS. Some Friday slates have been entirely canceled. Every Saturday early slate has been missing at least one game.

I’m going to get this one out there while there’s still two games going on. The Louisiana Tech-BYU tilt is going to be a fun one and the one that most people concentrate on. However, don’t sleep on the early Wake vs. Campbell game.

Campbell is coached by Mike Minter, who should wind up in the NFL Hall of Fame at some point. He looks like a very good coach as well. The Camels nearly poached Georgia Southern and put up 21 points on Appalachian State. There could be potential for their skill players considering Wake’s defense hasn’t been all that great.

Having too much Oklahoma and too little Trask hurt my all day Saturday lineups. I was heavy on Waddle, but not heavy enough on BYU to make a big profit in the nightcaps.

The scoring for DraftKings college football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!

The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. College football DFS scoring realizes that!
