What are five bold fantasy football predictions for Week 4 of the NFL season?

Each week, FanSided offers five bold predictions pertaining to your fantasy football matchups. This is the fourth edition of a series that will accompany you deep into your fantasy postseason travels.

Generally speaking, these prognostications are assessed from a 10-team, PPR league perspective. Most of the time, the assertions will apply to all aspects of fantasy football. If some sleepers are honorably mentioned, don’t be upset that the player is considered a sleeper when he may be the best option you have to plug-and-play. Not all leagues abide by the traditional 10-man format, and some leagues are even more exciting when they’re out-of-the-norm leagues.

For full disclosure, let’s hold ourselves accountable for last week:

  1. Miles Sanders Erupts. Slightly Incorrect. Sanders posted 14.7 PPR points in Week 3. This needed a touchdown to be an eruption. The Eagles, as a whole, weren’t feeling it.
  2. Kyler Murray eviscerates the Browns defense. A Draw. Turns out “eviscerate” was too strong of a word. Murray dropped 24.7 fantasy points on Cleveland, which isn’t nothing. The Cardinals lost the game.
  3. The Chargers defense stifles the Panthers. Incorrect. The Chargers only posted two fantasy points and lost to Carolina.
  4. Cowboys wideout Amari Cooper has a big day at SeattleA Draw. Cooper had a wonderful day — nine catches for 86 yards — but no scores.
  5. Matt Ryan has a pedestrian day at home vs. the Bears. 100% Correct. Ryan only churned out about 12 fantasy points, and the Bears shocked the Falcons late, again.

On to Week 4. Here are five relatively brazen predictions that are associated with Week 4 only. Not all of these projections will be accurate all of the time. Fantasy football dealings are topsy-turvy. Overall, though, let this season-long series serve as a pocketbook to your fantasy strategy.
