Facing the leaky Jets defense in the Thursday Night Football (TNF) game, Fant should score at least 17 points.

Denver Broncos tight end Noah Fant is an emerging star in the NFL.  He trails only Travis Kelce in fantasy football points at tight end. Kelce has 55.7 and Fant has 49.1. points.

Fant has been targeted 21 times, caught 14 passes for 131 yards and scored two touchdowns in three games.  Though he failed to score last Sunday against Tampa Bay, he should easily exceed the 40 catches and 3 touchdowns he had last year as a rookie.

Looking at the two rosters, Denver (0-3) has a better offense and defense than the New York Jets (0-3).   The two teams probably won’t combine for more than 32 points.

Surefire Starter

  • Noah Fant, Denver Broncos tight end, should be targeted at least 15 times by the Denver quarterback(s).   (Yes, the Broncos may use more than one quarterback against the Jets.).

Riding the Bench

  • Everyone except the guy wearing No. 87 for the Broncos.

Underrated

  • Maybe, just maybe, you might consider Jets wide receiver Braxton Berrios as a potentiali “Flex” starter. He us averaging 13.4 fantasy points a game with 10 receptions for 123 uards and 2 touchdowns.

Overrated

  • Le’Veon Bell, New York Jets running back, was supposed to be a major player in the city that never sleeps.  While the former Spartan is on the injured reserve list, the Jets offense has been atrocious.
  • Sam Darnold, New York Jets quarterback, Is ranked No. 31 among quarterbacks according to the ESPN standard scoring system for fantasy football.   His  29.0 QBR places him ahead of only Washington’s Dwayne Haskins (28.4) among qualified starting quarterbacks.

TNF Sleeper

  •  With the Tennessee-Pittsburgh game postponed, you might want to use the Jets’ Berrios as a “Flex” starter.
