DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks October 2

It’s weird having DraftKings EuroLeague slates with the NBA Finals going on over here stateside. Precautions are in place, and the Europeans are ready to give it a go! As long as they do, I’ll have some picks for you.

Friday is our lighter day of DraftKings EuroLeague for round 1. Today we have some intriguing matchups and a few old faces in new places just like yesterday.

Just like yesterday, domestic league games have been going on for a couple of weeks now. We have a few injuries to track. Of course, there was no info on Shane Larkin until just before tip yesterday, so keep an eye on these! EuroLeague doesn’t require disclosure of injuries like the NBA does.

Out: Vladimir Micov (elbow), Stefan Jovic (ankle), Kevin Punter (leg), Pierre Jackson (undisclosed), Sergio Llull (ankle), Jeffery Taylor (muscle), Howard Sant-Roos (ankle), Leo Westermann (groin), Zoran Dragic (hamstring), Egor Vialtsev (undisclosed), Felipe Reyes (ankle), Aaron White (undisclosed)

Questionable: Alexey Shved (undisclosed), Greg Monroe (undisclosed)

Shved hasn’t played in a domestic league game yet. Monroe left Monday’s game with an injury, but Khimki hasn’t said anything about either one. If I had a guess, I would say they both play sparingly, if at all. That enough reason to fade both because of the price tag on them.

It was a rough start to the EuroLeague season yesterday. Yabusele didn’t play and Larkin was ruled out. That threw the whole slate into chaos.

Often early in the EuroLeague season we see about ten players playing half the game. The upside on everyone is capped except for the few elites out there.

For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value. Keep that in mind when mining for value picks.
