Early college football DFS picks October 3:

We have a baker’s dozen of college football games for the early college football DFS tournaments on Saturday. The highly potent Mississippi State offense takes on a Kentucky defense that held tough for much of the game against Auburn. We have the experienced A&M offense against reloaded Alabama.

What else? How about South Carolina at Florida. That’s always fun. The Pitt defense will get tested again by NC State’s rushing attack. Texas Tech gets to rack up points on Kansas State. Oklahoma State will do the same to Kansas. Cincy gets to pad their stats against South Florida.

That’s not all! SMU and Memphis is going to have a lot of offense going on in that one. The Hokies look to hit their stride against Duke. BC gets a real test against North Carolina. Missouri and Tennessee look to see which hapless offense can turn it up here. Baylor and West Virginia could be a point extravaganza. There are a lot of places to look on this slate!

I had too much exposure to Oklahoma to make anything more than minimum cash on the early slate last week. I hit on a few with Mississippi State value, but Oklahoma ruined some really good lines. Not having Kyle Pitts hurt too.

The scoring for DraftKings college football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!

The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. College football DFS scoring realizes that!
