Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Cleveland Browns at Dallas Cowboys

Beckham has averaged just over seven targets per game through three games (22 total), but that has yielded just 11 catches for 155 yards and a touchdown. Cleveland’s formula to win games is centered on a run-oriented offense, but they are in line to be forced away from that in Week 4.

The Dallas Cowboys are No. 1 in the NFL in total offenses (490.7), with a defense that forces them to push the pace and air it out. More directly related to Beckham, the Cowboys enter Week 4 allowing the second-most fantasy point to wide receivers. Sunday is a get-right game for Beckham, with double-digit targets an easy projection in a potential shootout. If he can’t be started with confidence this week, when could he be?

T.J. Hockenson, TE, Detroit Lions, vs. New Orleans Saints

Hockenson has at least four catches and over 50 yards in all three games this season, with increased route involvement each week. Week 4 is lined up to be a big week for him.

It’s one thing to be burned by Darren Waller, as the New Orleans Saints were in Week 2 (12 catches for 105 yards and 1 TD, on 16 targets). But in Week 3, Green Bay Packers tight ends Robert Tonyan and Marcedes Lewis each had a touchdown against them, and Jace Sternberger mixed in three catches for 36 yards as the three split work.

Hockenson has a great matchup, and Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has an exploitable matchup himself on Sunday. It doesn’t have to be hard.
