Kenyan Drake, RB, Arizona Cardinals at Carolina Panthers

Drake seemed to respond to his frustrated fantasy owners after Week 2, suggesting they drop him and “bless” someone else in their leagues. Then he delivered 73 yards on 18 carries and one catch for six yards in a good matchup against the Detroit Lions in Week 3. Maybe he was suggesting Week 4 as the week of full blessing.

The Carolina Panthers enter Week 4 allowing the second-most fantasy points to running backs, including allowing 5.0 yards per carry and the most receptions to the position (32).

Five passing game targets in three games are lackluster, but otherwise, the workload has not been the issue for Drake with 16, 20 and 18 carries. If DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) is out on Sunday or he’s at all limited, Drake would be lined up to be the centerpiece of the Cardinals offense. He’s probably locked into most lineups anyway, but this week the upside is terrific.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions vs. New Orleans Saints

Stafford has started the season solidly, with 270 or more passing yards twice and multiple passing scores in back-to-back games. Week 4 is looking particularly good.

The New Orleans Saints head into Week 4 allowing the seventh-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. The last two signal-callers they’ve faced have put up nice numbers-Derek Carr (284 yards and three touchdowns) and Aaron Rodgers (283 yards and three touchdowns).

The Saints will be without cornerbacks Marshon Lattimore (hamstring) and Janoris Jenkins (shoulder) on Sunday, as well as defensive end Marcus Davenport (elbow/toe). A Lions’ passing game DFS stack starting with Stafford is lined up to pay nicely.
