Leeds United vs. Man City live stream: Watch Premier League online
By Adam Stocker
Leeds United face Manchester City at Elland Road on Saturday, Oct. 3. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
In their return to the Premier League, Leeds have gotten off to a great start to the season. The Peacocks have six points from their first three games. Manchester City have gotten off to a disappointing start to the season, splitting their first two games of the year.
After losing to Liverpool in their first game of the season, Leeds bounced back with two straight wins. Manager Marcelo Bielsa’s team have scored eight goals but have also conceded seven goals. If Leeds continue to allow more than two goals a game, their Premier League stay will not last very long. Up against one of the best-attacking teams in the Premier League, it could be a long day for the Peacocks. Patrick Bamford has scored three goals and assisted on two others. Bamford will line up in the front two of Bielsa’s 3-5-2 formation.
Manchester City suffered a humiliating 5-2 loss against Leicester last weekend. The loss was one of the worst for Pep Guardiola since he took over as manager. Following the loss, the Citizens went into the transfer market to strengthen their backline. Center-back Ruben Dias was signed in a swap deal with Benfica that saw Nicolas Otamendi going to the Portuguese club. Since Guardiola became manager, he has spent £421 million on defenders with very mixed results. While City have some of the best-attacking players in the world, if they are going to regain their Premier League crown, they will have to be significantly better defensively.
