Quarterback Dwayne Haskins played turnover-free football, throwing for 314 yards while also running for a score. But after a win over the Eagles, Washington dropped is third straight game.
The Jaguars made their way north to the Queen City to take on the improving but winless Bengals. Ultimately, the defense had zero answers for a Cincinnati attack that finished with 505 total yards – 205 of that on the ground. Gardner Minshew threw for 351 yards and two TDs but was sacked three times and threw an interception. Since the Week 1 win over the Colts, Jacksonville has dropped three straight and allowed 31-plus points in each game.
It was another problem-plagued day for Mike McCarthy’s team as the Cowboys finished the afternoon with 566 total yards and 38 points but couldn’t come away with the victory. Ezekiel Elliott carried just 12 times for 54 yards and lost a fumble. Dak Prescott threw for 502 yards and four scores but had two of Dallas’ three turnovers. Mike Nolan’s defensive unit allowed a whopping 307 yards on the ground and were on their heels all afternoon.
