Aaron Jones scored the opening touchdown for the Packers then rocked some shades.

Who needs wide receivers? All Aaron Rodgers needs is touchdown machine Aaron Jones.

The Green Bay Packers running back caught the opening score against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football, then celebrated with a pair of snazzy sunglasses.

Considering how wide open the Falcons left Jones for that touchdown, he might have had time to go to the sideline, throw those shades on, return to the field and then catch the pass.

Packers running back Aaron Jones knows how to celebrate a touchdown right

Jones has scored all four of the Packers’ rushing touchdowns so far this year and now he’s tied with all Green Bay receivers with two receiving touchdowns as well.

No wonder they call him the touchdown machine; he’s scored nearly half of the team’s total touchdowns so far. Going back to the start of last season, his 25 touchdowns are more than any other player in the NFL, per Field Yates of ESPN.

Jones is in his fourth year with the Packers after being drafted in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He played his college ball at Texas-El Paso and has proven he is more than capable of surviving at a much higher level. Last year he rushed for 1,084 yards and 16 touchdowns while adding 474 yards and three scores through the air.

Since Rodgers and company are playing without Davante Adams and several other key receiving options, Jones’ importance to the offense has only risen at the start of the 2020 season. He actually led the team in receiving yards in the Week 2 victory over the Detroit Lions.

As the Packers look to improve their record to 4-0 against the Falcons, Jones may very well find the end zone again. When he does, the shades will no doubt come out.
