Clint Frazier hits a moonshot to the Pacific Ocean off Blake Snell (Video)

Entering this MLB season, the New York Yankees were expected to clinch the best record in the AL. That never came to fruition, as the Yankees were ravaged with injuries, which allowed their heated rivals in the Tampa Bay Rays to take the AL East crown. The Bronx Bombers had their chance at revenge entering their ALDS matchup.

Earlier in Game 1 of the ALDS, Randy Arozarena hit a solo home run to tie the game 1-1 in the bottom of the first inning. In the top of the third inning, Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier made a statement at the expense of Rays ace Blake Snell, as he hit a solo bomb to left field to give the New York the 2-1 lead. To make this feat even crazier, this was also the second-highest pitch a Yankees player has ever hit a home run off of!

No one knows where Frazier’s home run landed

Frazier’s hit was definitely a home run, but we don’t know where the ball landed. Was it out in the parking lot of Petco Park? Did it land in the Gaslamp Quarter? The Grand Stairway? If we had to guess, we’d say the ball definitely landed in the Pacific Ocean.

In the Yankees’ Wild Card Round, Frazier was demoted to the bench in favor of veteran Brett Gardner during the team’s Wild Card series against the Cleveland Indians. While Gardner did go three-for-five in Game 1 of the tilt, he was hitless in the second game. Manager Aaron Boone decided now was the time to place Frazier in the starting lineup. And it definitely paid dividends.

Seriously though, we need to know where Frazier’s moonshot landed.
