Teams on bye: Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers

The first game of Week 5 features the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Chicago Bears. Though both teams are 3-1 through the first quarter of the year, the Buccaneers are laying points on the road vs. the Bears on Thursday Night Football. This has more to do with the Buccaneers having Tom Brady at quarterback than anything. Then again, Nick Foles beat him in Super Bowl 52.

Sunday Night Football this week will be between a pair of NFC playoff teams from a year ago. Though the Minnesota Vikings got their first win of the season, they will have to go up against an undefeated Seattle Seahawks team on the road in primetime. This is a tough spot for Kirk Cousins, as he’ll have to do whatever he can to keep pace with Russell Wilson at quarterback.

Next. Quarterbacks who deserve to be benched before Week 5. dark

Monday Night Football has one quarterback beginning his NFL career in Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers and another one drawing his to a close in Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints. Unless these two teams shockingly meet in Super Bowl 55, this will be the only career meeting between Brees and his former team’s new starting quarterback Herbert.
