George Springer needs GPS to find baseball on Khris Davis home run (Video)

George Springer should have just shrugged as soon as Khris Davis made contact.
The Oakland Athletics took a lead and George Springer still has no idea where this ball went.
Early in Game 2 of the 2020 ALDS vs. the Houston Astros, Athletics slugger Khris Davis took Astros starter Framber Valdez deep to centerfield. Though Springer might blame it on the early-afternoon California sun, he could have really used a trash can or some GPS to help him track down this big fly. It didn’t matter that he couldn’t grab it, but he had no idea where it landed.

Why give the Astros the benefit of the doubt when they threw it in the trash?
Houston took Game 1 of the best-of-five series vs. the AL West rival on Monday afternoon. Carlos Correa went yard and has no time for all the Astros haters in the world because they’re too busy winning. In three postseason games thus far, the Astros have won each of them, taking Game 1 yesterday over Oakland and sweeping the Minnesota Twins in the AL Wild Card series.

Houston may very well get back to the ALCS, as the Astros did win the AL pennant a season ago. However, this might be the best A’s team since Tony La Russa was managing the Bash Brothers 30 years ago. It’s a different era in Oakland, but maybe general manager Billy Beane has built the right roster to win big finally with some good, old-fashioned Moneyball.
Maybe the Astros will install GPS devices into the caps of all their outfielders after this?
