If the 2020 regular season ended today, the New York Giants would hold the No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and they would select Trevor Lawrence.

With a twinbill doubleheader on Monday night, Week 4 of the 2020 NFL season came to a close, and the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers kept their undefeated seasons going. As we turn the page to the second quarter of the season, teams are starting to emerge, while some are surprisingly moving in the wrong direction.

Here is our latest 2021 NFL Mock Draft.

Trevor Lawrence. 1. player. 31. . Quarterback. New York Giants

The New York Giants currently hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and basically whoever holds this selection is picking Clemson star Trevor Lawrence. Whether that means someone trades up into No. 1, or just holds the pick, there is no way that any team passes on No. 16.

So far, the returns on Daniel Jones have been so-so, and while it may not be his fault, if the Giants play so bad that they inherit the No. 1 pick, they will replace him with Lawrence. Lawrence is a guy who comes around only once in a while, and the Giants cannot afford to pass up on him.

Justin Fields. 2. player. 44. . Quarterback. Atlanta Falcons

It has been a miserable season for the Atlanta Falcons, and head coach Dan Quinn could be on his way out. Their Monday night loss to the Green Bay Packers was a telling display on how far they have fallen in the NFC, and it may be time to hit the reset button in more ways than one.

Of course, Matt Ryan is not the issue in Atlanta, but if the team decides to go in another direction, they may choose to select the second-best quarterback in this draft class. Picking at No. 2 overall means it was a waste of a season, but they can make up for it by selecting Justin Fields from Ohio State to take over for Ryan.

30. . Offensive Tackle. New York Jets. Penei Sewell. 3. player

The New York Jets hold two picks in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and with the first one, they bring in an elite offensive tackle prospect. General manager Joe Douglas loved to build up his offensive and defensive lines, and in Penei Sewell, he gets the best offensive tackle in this draft class.

The team should not pull the plug on Sam Darnold, but instead, they should look to build up the offense around him. He has been hit way too often during his short NFL career, but Sewell will be the guy to protect his blindside for the foreseeable future.
