Some canceled games made last week’s Fanduel lineups challenging. This week, there are some very interesting names available across the board.

This week, there aren’t a lot of good games on the schedule. The best game in the NFL is probably the Buffalo Bills taking on the Tennessee Titans, who are coming off a surprise bye week due to a COVID outbreak. The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions are the first planned byes of the season this week, taking out two interesting offenses from fantasy options.

A lot of really good offensive players are playing on national television, including the New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks, and Los Angeles Chargers. Still, there are some intriguing matchups that could lead to big points.

Sometimes when a team faces a team that’s too bad, the offenses sputter in the second half because they just want to drain the clock. This could work for any team playing the New York teams (the Cardinals and Cowboys this week), or it could work out they dominate bad defenses so bad that they get 30 points in the first half. Picking which one is which is how to make the big money on Fanduel.

Patrick Mahomes is on pace to finally get into the Sunday slate after two Monday night games and a Thursday night game among his first four. He comes in as the most expensive player on Fanduel with Christian McCaffrey still injured. The prices are pretty even with a lot of these really good players this week. With the matchups the way they are, there are too many options to pick.

The running backs on the board this week could be a lot of fun. Derrick Henry is coming off a week off. Ezekiel Elliott faces the putrid New York Giants (even though they played with some moxy this past week). Jonathan Taylor and Kareem Hunt take the lead roles in injured backfields. Picking the right running backs will win you on Sunday. This week it’s more clear than others this pick is crucial.
