The Heat will try to keep their Cinderella run alive, however, and this team has done nothing but constantly defy the odds and pull out miracle win after miracle win. A win for Los Angeles, conversely, would give LeBron his fourth championship ring.

What to watch for in Heat vs. Lakers Game 5

While Bam Adebayo returned to the floor for Miami and looked as efficient on both ends of the floor as he did against the Boston Celtics, the Heat will be without star point guard Goran Dragic in Game 5 once again due to his left plantar fascia tear. Rookie Kendrick Nunn was productive in the regular season, but his quick trigger has fizzled in these Finals. It is imperative he plays well tonight.

Buoyed by LeBron an excellent, efficient Finals showing from Anthony Davis, and role players like Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Danny Green finally starting to drill 3-pointers, LA is on the doorstep of history. Given the turbulence that this franchise has had to overcome this season, a Finals victory would be quite the cherry on top of this season.
