The Cowboys took a page from their rival’s book to take the lead on the Giants
Dak Prescott, wide receiver? The Cowboys are pulling out all the stops in what’s turned into a surprisingly competitive divisional affair. The NFC East is a trash heap, but it can be the Cowboys dumpster fire if they win on Sunday afternoon. With a victory, they’d be 2-3 and *gasps* top of the division. It’s unthinkable, yet it’s true.
To make matters even better from the Cowboys’ point of view, they scored via a defensive touchdown (previously thought unthinkable in the Mike Nolan regime), and now by stealing the Philly special. Sorry, Eagles fans, it’s theirs now.

Do the Cowboys have the right to change the play’s name to “Dak Special”
Prescott really can do it all, and we hope this is yet another sign that they plan on paying him by this offseason. If not, someone needs to save Dak before it’s too late.
The Mississippi State product is among the best signal-callers in the NFL, and just in case that’s not enough, he’s fine playing decoy on a trick play. This dude is the ultimate team player.
The Giants just whiffed on their own trick play — a fake field goal — which was taken off the board thanks to an illegal shift. That is the relatively small difference between these two teams. Joe Judge is a fine coach, but he doesn’t have the personnel to finish plays like that.
With Prescott in tow, the Cowboys have what it takes to surprise us every week, sometimes not for the better.
