Dak Prescott’s brother Tad Prescott gives us an update from the hospital
Dak Prescott‘s season may be done, but Tad Prescott showed us his brother is in good spirits.
The Dallas Cowboys franchise quarterback broke his ankle on Sunday afternoon when he tried to scramble vs. the rival New York Giants. We knew it was broken the second it happened and that his fifth NFL season was over. Andy Dalton came in to finish the game and give the Cowboys a win. Tad Prescott tweeted out a picture from the hospital to show us Dak Prescott is doing okay.
A broken ankle isn’t going to derail Dak Prescott’s NFL journey one bit.
Even though this may very well be the last time he plays for the Cowboys, as Prescott was on the 2020 franchise tag and will be a free agent at the end of the season again, he’s already overcome enough in his life, so what is a broken ankle to him? This guy is mentally tough and will rebound next season, no matter if that’s playing for the Cowboys or starting for some other NFL team.
His mobility has always been a plus. While his arm strength and throwing motion have never been at the top of the league, what has set Prescott apart from many of his peers is his maturity and presence at the podium. He’s the type of person capable of leading your favorite NFL team into battle on fall Sundays. He made Mississippi State better in college and now with the Cowboys.
His ankle may be broken, but a fractured bone isn’t going to break his spirit one bit.
