Mike Tomlin’s wound up with an unexpected off-week and the team emptied out the offensive playbook in holding off the Eagles. Rookie wide receiver Chase Claypool ran for one score and caught seven passes for 110 yards and three touchdowns. Ben Roethlisberger connected on 27-of-34 throws for 239 yards and three scores and Keith Butler’s defense racked up five more sacks and two interceptions – both picks via cornerback Steven Nelson.

The defending AFC North champions hosted the Bengals and made it four consecutive wins over their division rival. Quarterback Lamar Jackson barely completed 50 percent of his passes (19-of-37) but it added up to 180 yards and TD tosses to Mark Andrews and Marquise Brown. The Baltimore ground game came up with 161 yards and Don Martindale’s defensive unit limited Cincinnati to 205 total yards (70 offensive plays) and forced three turnovers.

36. . 5-0. Previous: . Seattle Seahawks. 4. team

Pete Carroll’s team was at home for the third time in four weeks as the undefeated NFC West leaders hosted the Vikings for the third consecutive year. And the Seahawks not only trailed, 13-0, at intermission but the NFC West leaders had been limited to 66 total yards and Russell Wilson had already been sacked four times. But there was a 21-point outburst in the third quarter and down by five late, Wilson drove the team 94 yards for the winning TD.
