Pete Carroll was hyped like a kid in a candy store after Seahawks comeback win (Video)

Pete Carroll is without question the most energized 69-year-old on the planet.
Was Pete Carroll all jacked up on Mountain Dew on Sunday night because he sure looked like it?
Carroll’s Seattle Seahawks went after the Minnesota Vikings‘ defense like a spider monkey in the final seconds of Sunday Night Football. With fourth-and-goal and seconds to go, Russell Wilson found D.K. Metcalf for six points to give his team the one point it needed to win in primetime. Naturally, the energy carried over into what he told his team in the locker room in the post-game.
How many Seahawks would run through a barbed wire fence for Pete Carroll?
At 5-0, the Seahawks are giving off the vibes of the best team in the NFC. While teams like the Green Bay Packers may have something to say about that, there is no doubt about Seattle’s ability to win games in crunch time. As Carroll showed us in his caffeinated post-game celebration, you can only win football games in the fourth quarter, which is exactly what Seattle did on Sunday.
Just about every Sunday, the Seahawks play a weird game that goes off script. With a flair for the dramatic, the Seahawks usually find a way to win these wonky games, probably because they’re used to them because they play these type of games every week. Their fourth-quarter efforts reflect mental toughness and are a reflection of their hall-of-fame head coach.
Carroll’s energy reminds us that we’re all lethargic in comparison to him, no matter our age.
