Travis Fulgham – Philadelphia Eagles

Fulgham, a former sixth-round pick who bounced around the league after failing to stick with the Detroit Lions, proved his impressive performance in the Week 4 win over the 49ers was not a one-off.

The Eagles wide receiver kept Philadelphia in the game with the Steelers, providing further evidence of a burgeoning rapport with quarterback Carson Wentz in a thrilling shootout between the two Pennsylvania teams.

Having made two catches for 57 and a crucial touchdown against the Niners, Fulgham caught 10 of his 13 targets for 152 yards and a score. He finished Sunday second among all scorers in PPR leagues with 31.2 points.

Fulgham demonstrated an impressive blend of size, explosiveness and agility in pre-draft testing coming out of Old Dominion in 2019 and enjoyed a strong week of practice at the Senior Bowl.

However, nobody anticipated this kind of dominance from the 6ft 2in and 215-pound wideout, who can now look forward to an expanded role in the Philadelphia offense.

Though the Eagles still have Alshon Jeffery and Desean Jackson to return from injury, it is unlikely two aging veterans who are struggling to stay healthy will prevent Fulgham from continuing to serve as a favorite target for Wentz.

No Eagles pass-catchers outside of Fulgham made a significant impact on Sunday, giving him a clear path to becoming a top receiver in their offense.

After a tough matchup with the Baltimore Ravens next week, the Eagles have two meetings with the New York Giants sandwiched by a clash with the Dallas Cowboys. That should motivation enough for fantasy players to get their waiver claims in for Fulgham.
