The New York Jets appear ready to give up on their Le’Veon Bell experiment, with a report out of the Big Apple stating they’re looking to trade him.

How can things get any worse for New York Jets fans? The team has played some embarrassing football this season, with them standing at the bottom of the AFC East standings with their 0-5 record.

Now, the latest report out of New York is sure to anger all the loyal Jets supporters. According to insider Manish Mehta, the front office has decided they’ve had enough of running back Le’Veon Bell and they’re looking to trade him. You just can’t make this stuff up.

The Jets are looking to trade Le’Veon Bell in the middle of his second campaign with the team

It’s been a rough campaign thus far for Bell, as he was placed on Injured Reserve with a hamstring injury following the team’s Week 1 loss. Bell worked his way back to join his teammates in taking on the Arizona Cardinals this past Sunday, but the Jets suffered a rough 30-10 defeat.

In that loss, Bell carried the ball 13 times for 60 yards. On the season, he’s been held to 19 rushes for 74 yards in his limited action. When New York signed him prior to the 2019 season, he was expected to get his career back on track and help the Jets get back to the postseason following his year away from football.

During his first campaign with New York, Bell was a major disappointment, rushing for only 789 yards and three touchdowns. Things just haven’t gone as planned for the former Pro Bowl running back in New York, and now the team looks ready to wash his hands of him and send him to another city. Let’s see which teams will make a move to try and land him.
