Dodgers and Braves reveal lineups for critical Game 4

The Dodgers and Braves are gearing up for Game 4 of the NLCS
After the Dodgers put their stamp on this series with a 15-run output on Wednesday night, Los Angeles will try and even up the series Thursday. The Braves will turn to Bryse Wilson in what’s expected to be a bullpen game of sorts, as Wilson has gone six innings just once in his seven career starts.
The rookie will go up against Clayton Kershaw, whose back spasms pushed his Game 2 start back two contests. Despite injury, Kershaw’s postseason legacy is subject to change in every playoff appearance. Thursday night will be no different, especially when up against an elite Braves lineup.
Atlanta is sticking with the same starting nine as Game 3, despite scoring just one run against Julio Urias and the Dodgers bullpen. It’s the Braves usual lineup against lefties, and Brian Snitker is banking on one sub-par performance being nothing more than an outlier.
The Dodgers lineup features two noticeable changes
The Dodgers are going with Kershaw’s personal catcher in Austin Barnes. While not known for his bat, Kershaw’s comfort with Barnes actively plays into the Dodgers strategy. They need their ace to go deep in the game if possible to save the bullpen and prepare for the rest of the series.
Kiké Hernandez will enter the fold for Game 4, and after the Dodgers 15-run output just last night, no one is suited to question Dave Roberts’ lineup decisions at this point. It’s the managerial version of literally being on fire.
Braves and Dodgers will start at 8:08 p.m. ET on FS1.
