5 teams that could use Jeremy Lin next season
By Mike Luciano
Before “Linsanity” took over New York, Lin was trying to scrape out a living in his native Northern California with the Warriors. A reunion could be in the best interests of both parties right now, as the only point guards Golden State has behind Steph Curry are Ky Bowman and Jordan Poole. Given Curry’s injuries last year, the Warriors need a better backup plan if they want to get back to the postseason.
For all the star power Golden State has had over the last few years, the contributions of the likes of Shaun Livingston behind Curry on the bench have proven to be instrumental in their title push. Lin won’t cost a fortune to bring in, can be trusted to handle himself on both the offensive and defensive ends, and can provide another veteran voice on a Warriors team that is getting younger and younger.
