Freddie Freeman waving to his son after base hit is adorable (Video)

Freddie Freeman’s son is enjoying the Braves run to the NLCS
Freeman’s son Charlie is being raised in a baseball family, which means we shouldn’t be surprised in 20 or so years when he’s batting cleanup for these very same Braves, because that’s just how MLB seems to work. Every storyline is connected one way or another, and Charlie Freeman is getting an up close and personal view of what his dad does on an everyday basis, and by that we mean rake.
Freeman is in MVP form — heck, he has been all season — and led the Braves to a 3-1 series lead on Thursday night. Atlanta is on the brink of a World Series, but Freddie isn’t dropping his dad responsibilities.
The Braves won’t underestimate the Dodgers despite their commanding 3-1 lead
The Dodgers had the best record in baseball for a reason, and as we saw in Game 3 they’re capable of answering with a vengeance. Los Angeles scored 11 runs in the first inning Wednesday — an MLB postseason record.
While it was questioned by some (me included), the Braves are saving ace Max Fried for Game 6, and hope they never have to use him. Fried would be a last-ditch effort to avoid a make-or-break Game 7. Should Atlanta win tonight in five games, he’d be in line to start Game 1 of the World Series on plenty of rest, and thus make Brian Snitker look like a genius.
Freeman and the Braves are riding a wave of confidence, timely hitting and solid pitching. All three of those attributes are key to making a World Series run. Just one win away, Freeman and his family hope they get to celebrate the NL pennant on Friday.
