Everton face Liverpool at Goodison Park on Saturday, Oct. 17. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Following the international break, the Premier League resumes. In one of the biggest Merseyside derby in recent memory, Everton host cross-town rivals Liverpool at Goodison Park. The Toffees have got off to the best start of any team this season, winning their first four games of the season. While the defending champions Liverpool, have won three of their first four games of the season.

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti’s love for James Rodriguez has paid major dividends to start the season. Ancelotti has had the Colombian playmaker at Real Madrid and Bayern Munich and gave him a chance for redemption at Everton after Rodriguez found himself out of Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid team. Since arriving on a free transfer from Real Madrid, Rodriguez has scored three goals and added two assists for Everton. Rodriguez has formed a strong partnership with striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is tied for the Premier League led with six goals this season. While Everton have scored the most goals in the Premier League, they will face their toughest test this season against Liverpool, who will apply constant pressure all game.

The Reds suffered one of the most humiliating losses a defending champion has ever suffered. In their last game, Liverpool were defeated 7-2 by Aston Villa. The Reds have conceded the second-most goals to start the season. Manager Jurgen Klopp is known for his aggressive pressing style but will likely be more defensively focused going forward as he looks to fix the mistakes from previous games. Klopp’s job has become even more difficult this season, as several of his players have tested positive for COVID-19. Sadio Mane and Thiago are among the players who tested positive before the international break and it is unclear if either will be available. If Mane cannot play, Diogo Jota will again start in his place.
