Mookie Betts became a rich man in 2020 and it is easy to only focus on what he does on offense. But he is an elite outfielder and made several amazing plays Saturday night in Game 6 of the NLCS.
He is at it again Sunday night and decided to show off his hops by robbing Freedie Freeman of a home run in the fifth inning.

Mookie Betts keeps the game close
What can’t Mookie do? He has incredible range and the focus it takes to rob a home run is not something all MLB outfielders can do. That is why he gets the big money.

Betts has a hit in each of the past three games and his defense was a highlight of the close 3-1 victory in Game 6. He just needs to drive in more runs as he sits with one single RBI this series.
