The Dodgers’ Will Smith hit a two-run single to pull Los Angeles even with the Braves in Game 7 of the NLCS.
Let the Will Smith memes flow once more.
In a do-or-die Game 7 between the Dodgers and the Braves, Smith was the early hero when he hit a single into left field to tie the game 2-2.

Eventually, maybe the Will Smith references every time the Dodgers’ Smith produces a big play will get old. But we’re certainly not at that stage yet.

Will Smith has been the Dodgers savior in the last two games of the NLCS
The Braves took command of Game 7 early when starter Dustin May gave up an RBI single to Marcell Ozuna in the first inning. In the second, Dansby Swanson added to the lead with a home run off of Tony Gonsolin.
Los Angeles stranded three baserunners in the bottom of the second as they worked to even the score.
The Dodgers eventually responded when Smith came to the plate and produced the first runs given up by pitcher Ian Anderson this postseason. His single sent Justin Turner and Max Muncy home.
To do what he’s done, Smith has had to add something to his bat: The ability to hit the curveball.
Will Smith ties it up!

Prior to this postseason, he had just 4 hits on curveballs in his career.
This postseason? He has 5 (!) hits on curveballs.#LATogether #Postseason pic.twitter.com/niDjUoGyD6
The winner of Sunday’s NLCS Game 7 will move onto the World Series to face the Tampa Bay Rays, who managed to put away the Houston Astros on Saturday night.
